Located near Hay-on-Wye, on the Welsh/English borders, Clare Keil, working in design, and Marijana Dworska, working with rare books, brought together their interests and skills to start books4looks™ and now its sister-business cover2cover cards™.
Working with local printers in Hay-on-Wye and the Welsh borders, they produce high-quality greetings cards, blank inside and for every occasion. The artwork and quality of their cards makes them highly suitable to be framed both individually and in sets. The cards are made and printed locally, FSC, recyclable and biodegradable. They can be ordered on-line or are available direct and from selected stockists. Professionally packed, dispatched and shipped worldwide. Bulk and wholesale order welcome.
After many successful exhibitions with books4looks™ An enthusiasm for innovative and stylish graphics in book-cover art encouraged us to establish and now its sister-business cover2cover cards™. All our greetings cards are inspired by the book-cover art and general graphic design of the mid-twentieth century. Our designs and patterns are created from our large curated collection of books selected primarily for the visual impact and artistic merit of the covers. An extraordinary age of innovative graphic design is nowhere more apparent than on the covers of the humble Mid Twentieth Century paperback book or dust-wrapper. In publishing cover2cover designs as greetings cards we hope to show our appreciation of this wealth of skill and share it with a wider audience.
